Anushka is an actor and producer from Bollywood. She has won many acting prizes and is considered to be one of the most well-paid actors. Since her debut as a model during Lakme Fashion Week Anushka did several campaigns for brands like and she's done ads to promote the brand's Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry and Fiat Palio etc. Anushka Sharma, in addition to her modelling career, joined an acting school, and began auditioning for film roles. Anushka appeared in a role of acting by Shah Rukh Khan opposite Anushka. In preparation for her screen-test, Anushka Sharma took all day. After that, she signed up for three films with Yash Raj Films. The role she played was that of a bride who was young and married to a man who was middle in age (the role that Shah Rukh Khan was portraying). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka Sharma starred in the movie 'Badmash Company that came out in the year 2010. The film included Shahid Kapoor as well as Vir Das. The movie received mixed critiques. Anushka was also seen alongside Ranveer in the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat,' where she portrayed a Punjabi middle-class girl who set up her own company. It received favorable reviews and turned out to be a surprise hit. Anushka finished her deal of three films with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
